There are better options

I bought these because they were cheap, and I thought it would be fun to have the color match my bike. In retrospect, I should have spent a few dollars more for better pads.

There's really nothing wrong with these pads. I used them for about 500 miles, and they were worn about half way down when I replaced them. They had decent stopping power (with Dia Compe center-pull brakes), but not as good as the Kool Stop salmon pads I replaced them with.

These are great brake shoes for a sweet price. They wear as quickly as Koolstop pads for the half the price. No complaints here.

Pros: easy to install, great price, wear well

Cons: none
