Jagwire Cable End Crimps

Its always greta to have a bottle of these around if you work on multiple bikes. The coloras are nice that they add flare plus it is easy to see if one has fallen off for some reason

Much better looking that drab silver crimps. Make sure you get the right size for the correct cable thickness. The larger ones can work for both, but require more effort crimping and won't look as clean.

Pros: Does a good job finishing off your cable work.

How many times have you not crimped your cable ends and ended up with a frayed mess?

It feels silly reviewing these. I got the blue ones and they bling out my bike reeaaally nicely. It looks awesome! They're cable ends, though, so nothing to get too excited about.

Pros: + Crimp easily without shearing through them.

30 pack

The 30 pack is a nice size package to have at home so you don't have to make a trip to the bike shop for a single one. They are also nice for a little touch of color.

Cheap Bling to the Ride?

Love getting some extra color on the bike. I've picked up the smaller, variety pack of colors for my home bike work. Like that you get multiple colors in one pack, helps keep many bikes color-coordinated, if that's your thing too.

Lots of colors! Great

I bought a bunch of these in a couple colors. I do enough work on friend's bikes, and I switch around my stuff often enough that I am always changing out crimps.

They work great, look great and don't cost much. We all win.

Pros: Nice colors, cheap, you need to have them.

Cons: I should have bought pink crimps, as they are the new black.

Blingy and functional

I bought the 30 pack because the size was right for a home mechanic and the gold and red look great on my bike. They work as advertised and are a nice touch.

Pros: protect cable ends (and subsequently, your fingertips)

Cons: not reusable, i guess (none of this type are, and who cares? they are cheap)

Wish there was another way, but this is one of those must have items in the tool area and at least the quality is good from jag wire.

The size is just right and these stay crimped on well. These are lighter and don't lend themselves to re-use, but by purchasing in bulk there is no need to worry about cost.

Pros: Stays put, super light.

A nice addition to touch off any bike. Work well and are tight fitting to the cable. Not sure I really needed 500 of them though.

Everyone should have these...

So simple. Buy them use them. If you have a good set of cable cutters these will fit on shifter and brake cables... barely with the brakes but they work.
