Cold weather accessory to keep hands warm and comfortable in cold, rain, snow and wind. Mitts attach to flat bars and are easily installed and removed. Bar Mitts keep hands warm while riding and allow users to use a very lightweight glove, increasing dexterity, even in the coldest of weather.

Fits flat/riser mountain bars
5.5mm neoprene w/nylon laminate on both sides
The difference from Medium to large is 1" larger
Attach to bars, easily installed and removed for temperature changes
Can be used with regular cycling gloves of varying thickness
Modified for 2012 to better accommodate a variety of positions and lever set-ups

Survival

If you think cold is bad, consider wet and cold. These allow me to keep riding in the winter without losing all circulation in my hands. They block wind, they block rain, and I'm about to buy a pair for my backup bike, because it's the one I'll ride if there's any snow (I'm in Portland - there's a lot of cold wet, but very little snow).

Pros: They save my hands, allow manual dexterity, keeps the number of pairs of gloves I need to a reasonable number.

Cons: Removing and replacing my bar end mirrors is often a pain, and necessary to get the mitts on and off. Rolling the mitt back is easier than trying to work the mirror on blind.
