Great tool!

Bought this to replace my old "Cool Tool" for XC riding. It is far better with better tools and better made. I liked it so much I bought another one!

Pros: Well made, Good price, All the right tools

I'll be getting something else

I'm usually a fan of Crank Brothers products. This is not really up to what I expect from Crank Brothers design and I haven't been happy with it.

Not really apparent from the photo is the tools are really short, not even half the length of the unit. They are too short to get into a lot of areas and I found using the M17 frustrating. They fold together in a tri-fold manner, not a 69 formation so there is also a lot of wasted space.

The M17 would be handy for a emergency, but it's too heavy and bulky for the club rides, and too impractical for touring.

Pros: Solid build, handsome

Cons: Tools are impracticably short, overly heavy and wide, rubber-band to hold the tools together is awkward and easily lost.
