Big Apple+
Since Schwalbe seems to be pulling away from its Big Ben line of tires (at least for 26 wheels), this fills the gap. Very capable tire. If you've ridden Big Apples, this will feel pretty identical. 2.5" seems pretty close to 2.4"-2.5". No punctures but haven't put more than a couple hundred miles on them. Slower than Big Apples? Probably a tiny bit. If I'm riding mostly street I throw this up front and Big Apple in back. That combination makes for a very capable urban assault/dirt trail exploration rig.Surly E T tires
I put these on a Trek Pure cruiser with a Shimano Alfine IGH and a Bafang BBS01 35w mid-motor. With the stock tires the ride was very harsh due to the weight of the rider, motor & battery. Now with the ET's at 25 psi the ride is mostly smooth. Range for the battery went down by 10% but I will give that up for the nice ride. I have about 50 miles on them, gravel, bike paths and streets.
