Stop NOW

These take a while to break in and work best when warm.
i made a tactical error by spec'ing thes front and rear on a hardtail which saw mainly street use, where XT would be the better choice.
That said, these perform fantastically on the trail and i never have to worry about coming in too hot for them to stop me.
Maybe not the most powerful brakes i've ever used, but pro/con-wise, i'd say these are second to none.
If you aren't riding mainly gravity, though, i'd say XT/XTR would be the way to go, because these are really only happy when being used hard, like the diesel of brakes.

Pros: Great stopping power
Build quality
Mineral oil is non-toxic and non-corrosive
Pad life
Heat regulation via radiators and ceramic pistons

Cons: Not great when cold
Long break-in period

Would Buy Again: Yes
