Works perfectly, very stiff, much better than cam QRs

To the guy who gave these a poor review because he couldn't spin them around 360 while tightening them...he needs engage his cognitive abilities some more. Even if you can only spin it 1/4 turn or less, all you do is pull the lever knob straight out away from the hub to disengage it, rotate it counter clockwise, let it spring back, then rotate clockwise again to tighten and repeat until completely tight. It's not rocket surgery! Geez!

Anyway, these skewers are fantastic! I highly recommend the steel ones over aluminum because you can really crank these down tight! Makes things so much stiffer! Not as good as a through axle or 15mm QR, but far, far better than a standard cam lock QR. Well worth the money.

Pros: Very strong, very stiff.

Cons: None that I know of...be sure to always rotate the lever where it's less likely to snag or get damaged.

Decent Skewer but has one drawback

Seems like a nice well built skewer.

The problem is the lever is not folding. Thus you need to have enough room on your frame to fully turn the lever 380 degrees in order to tighten it down. The one I tried won't make it past my seats stays or cable stays on the rear. On the front my drop outs are close to the fork and it could not clear the fork.

I'm giving a 3 star rating as it seems like a well built quality item. It just has some fit issues on my frame and is actually hard to put on compared to the traditional style with a folding lever.

Pros: Well Made
Seems high quality
Clean and good looking
Nice size lever easy to hold
Unique and interesting new design

Cons: Hard to install, the bike needs to be stable and you need to use two hands one on each side holding the nut and turning the lever. Installing in the garage brought some concerns to mind in how easy it would be to do on a road size.
- didn't fit my frame.

Big Fan of RWS Design

Had to replace the Specialized 9mm thru bolt when I upgraded the wheels on my Epic. Would have used the old Spec. bolt on the new wheels, but King doesn't make an adopter to work. Got this in place of using a traditional QR. In some comparisons to normal flip style QRs, this style seems stiffer to me (on the same wheel set).

Not saying its QR15 like in stiffness, but worth a shot to stiffen up the front of a bike slightly.

Pros: Holds better/stiffer than normal QR.

Cons: Slower than typical QR.
