Weak sidewalls!

These tires MIGHT be OK for race use, but beware, the 3C sidewalls are extremely vulnerable to punctures and tears, and your tubeless sealant won't stop the leak. One little nick and you won't be able to run them tubeless. These tires have ruined several great rides for me, the tread is barely worn but I am kicking them to the curb.

They roll fast and are very lightweight, if you are racing on dry hardpack then they should be fine. Stay away from sharp rocks and roots!

Pros: fast rolling

Cons: weak sidewalls!

Traildog

Currently running on the back of a SS. Hooks up well, good braking, predictable. More aggressive than a Kenda Small Block 8 and seems to roll just as well. I would like to try one on the front too!

Pros: Maxxis quality, good traction, easily mounts up tubeless.

Cons: pricey, but worth it(to me)
