Wolf Tooth Headset Compression Plug/Cap

The Wolf Tooth Compression Plug provides an anchor point to set the headset preload on road, MTB, or gravel bikes with carbon forks—essentially securing everything on the steerer tube. A stem cap with a 5mm integrated spacer is included, which is important since many fork manufacturers require the steerer tube to extend above the top of the stem

Fits forks with 1 1/8" steerer tubes
Designed for carbon steerer tubes but works with metal steerer tubes with ID from 23.5mm to 24.5mm
7075-T6 aluminum
Never use a star nut on forks with carbon steerers
Material: 7075-T6 aluminum
Insertion Depth: 28mm
Stem Cap Bolt Torque Spec: 2-3 Nm with light grease on threads only
Expansion Bolt Torque Spec: 5-7 Nm
Weight: 38g.
