The Hoggs shims are used to compensate for leg length discrepancies.
- Aussie Steve Hogg's Leg Length Shims (LL Shims) allow riders to compensate for leg length discrepancies
- Made of high-density plastic to conform to the curve of the sole of the shoe, and are 3 mm thick
- Screws are included
They work and are easy to install. They helped to correct my side to side foot angle.
Pros: This is a good starting point to correct foot and leg length problems. Everything is included including good illustrations
Cons: Depending of which shims you use your recessed cleats may no longer be recessed

I can't fit under-sole wedges in my shoes due to them becoming too tight. These wedges go on bottom on cleats, and leave the inside of your shoe just for your feet. The wedges and shim (3mm) make for a great MTB shim/wedge kit for the spd system of cleats. Everything you need to get pedalling in great allignment.
Pros: fit bottom of cleat and not inside your shoe. Instructions are great. Shim is big enough to provide platform under SPD cleats to keep feet securely locked into pedals.
Cons: None.
