Won't fit Elixir 1 and 3

Pins have to be removed to fit Elixir 3. After contacting the MFR they confirmed this and said the Elixir 1 was the same way. They were working on a fix and changing their packaging. I did however manage to install the front pads with pins removed and really liked the performance. Kool Stop was also very fast to respond to my problem and even offered to replace the pads. This was Mid August 2014

I'd actually give a 3.5 star if possible, 1 star drop for not fully testing the fit on the entire Elixir line to find the problem before production started. That being said, when the fit is figured out, I'll be using these no problem. I now have Elixir 7 Trails so waiting for those to be available.

Pros: Great compound, good feel, great customer service

Cons: Does not fit Elixir 1 and 3 brakes
