Nice, puncture free for me.

I installed a 700x28 4 seasons on the back of my Sequoia road bike when I lived in Baltimore. Been through amazingly nasty crud on sides of dirty Baltimore roads. I have had flats from presta valves separating from tubes, tubes getting sliced by cheap plastic rim strips and tubes just failing for whatever reason. But this tire was never punctured. I have had many Specialized Sport 700x23 tires get several punctures but not the 4 season 700x28. And I like a lower pressure ride.

Would I buy it again? I did.
I also have a Surly Straggler with Stan's Iron Cross rims and the 4 season 700x28 tires are now mounted tubelessly. Great ride except for the nasty wooden bridges in Minneapolis, where I would prefer a 32mm tire. But even on the rough bridges it is pretty good with 45psi tubeless inflation.

But they are 3 season tires to me. Anyone riding these in a Minnesota winter probably will get their head examined, by a coroner. Get studded tires for one of the seasons, preferably winter.

Pros: Nice road tires that are okay on rails to trails gravel and packed dirt, perfect for pavement. Nice flat protection, I like the vectran and duraskin. Probably the lightest strong road tire available.

Cons: A pricey, but cheaper than Armadillo Elites which Specialized never discounts. But you can buy a single great tire or a couple mediocre tires, which costs less? And what is avoiding a flat worth to you?

Not a 4 season tire where ice is involved.

I'm using 700x28c on a general-purpose road bike. At 90 PSI these measure 26.0 mm on a 13c rim and 27.4 mm on a more appropriate 19c rim. These tires are far smoother and actually have less rolling resistance than the 700x25c Conti Ultra 2000s they replaced.

Given their great performance and low incidence of flats I think these tires are worth the price.

This is the narrowest tire I would mount on my Mavic A719 rims. I'm looking forward to trying the 700x32c size when it becomes available.

Pros: High puncture resistance.
Low rolling resistance.
Good tread wear.
Smooth ride.
Good handling.

Cons: Expensive.

just above average.

I have had the 4 Seasons on my rear wheel for about 600-700 miles on it.
It's a good tire, but considering the price, it's just above average performer.
The wet weather traction is just a little better than some cheaper tires I have ridden. But defiantly a bit over rated.
I have not had a flat for the time I had it.
Rides nice and quit and not too much rolling resistance.
Only reason I am replacing mine is, I skidded out accidentally and tore up the tire.

Pros: Rides good, potentially long mileage tire, a sure bet for a good all around tire.

Cons: Simply over priced, wet weather traction is a bit over rated, IMO.
