It adds to the hipster-ness that I was seeking

I put these on my road bike that has served me well as a light tourer, cyclocross bike, gravel grinder, adventure bike, and any other category of bicycle that the industry has created. So far, the handle-bars have done well. I flipped them so that they're a shallow mustache bar which has turned out to be a lot more comfortable than a Nitto stash bar or any other stash bar that is out there. I've since taken this handle-bar out on a 30 mile road ride and I wasn't left with an aching back or any discomfort! I've also taken this bar out on a little 8 mile trail ride that proved to be a comfortable-fun ride. What makes this bar so nice is that since your hands are at your sides, it allows you to pull the handlebar with more torque making climbs a cinch! Plus, it adds class to any bike which any hipster will appreciate while also hating him/herself for not thinking of it originally.

Pros: It's decently light which was a nice surprise when I got it.

Cons: Not understanding the Greek style font spelling out Metropolis on the handlebar.

Great multi-purpose handlebars

I bought these to replace the straight bars on my Cannondale city bike. I had previously tried the Soma Clarence hbars, but found them too wide, and I could never get my hands comfortable. Although the FSA bars are only swept back 5 degrees more than the Clarence, they really hit the sweet spot for me. I use them with standard Ergon grips (not the ones meant for swept-back hbars,) and have no hand fatigue. The backsweep allows me to use my biceps a little more on steep hills, and it's still easy to lift the front end over obstructions. I was a little hesitant about moving from 25.4mm to 31.8mm bars because I thought I'd prefer compliance to stiffness, but now I love the stiffness- it definitely helps when powering up a hill. For urban riding, gravel grinding, and dirt paths, these bars are perfect.

Pros: Handlebar backsweep is very comfortable.

Cons: Black finish mars/scratches easily; would easily be 5 stars except for that complaint.
Oddly shaped cross section may limit usable hand positions, depending on setup.
