great mirrors ... when they stay on

I have these on two of my bikes, and they work really well in allowing me to see what's behind. I have them on both sides, and usually do have to fiddle a bit so that I can get a decent view past my thighs (drop handlebars), but can move them into a decent spot by taking advantage of the mirror's curvature to get a nice view of the bulk of the road each side.

They're pretty easy to install, and the mirrors have a ball end which pops into a round hole on the included bar-ends, allowing easy adjustment.

The downside is that I've now gone through about four pairs of these, since if the road is bumpy enough I can find that (usually sadly too late) one or other mirror has popped out, so is presumably somewhere on one of the roads behind me. It doesn't seem that one can buy just the mirror, and although the basic price is fine, I've decided to switch to a different mirror while I still have three mirrors (and hence one replacement). It's a shame really, since this is much easier to install than the 'italian road bike mirror' which I have on my third bike (which although nice, is a pain to adjust according to riding position).

Pros: good view, very easy to install, very easy to adjust while riding

Cons: eventually falls out over bumpy roads

Great mirror

I use this mirror for every training ride. The visability is great and as long as you take care of it, it stays clear.
It's also easy to pop on and off, so you can take it off for race day.

Pros: stays clear
easy on and off

Cons: none
