Climb with conviction. Descend with determination. The all-new FLOAT answers the demands of the modern trail rider; a firm pedal platform for uphill efficiency and confidence-inducing, trail-hugging descent capability, all in a lightweight package

A trail riders shock with the performance of a Float X but with lightweight capability like that found in the Float SL
New large diameter main piston, valving, and IFP for increased performance, consistency and tuneability
Inline design not only keeps the weight down (160 grams lighter than FLOAT X and just 60 grams heavier than the featherweight FLOAT SL, in 190 x 45mm size), it provides a greater range of fitment for trail bike frames
Designed without the need for a piggyback reservoir, FLOAT also leaves more clearance for water bottle cages and is compatible with a wider range of eMTB frames
Large volume EVOL air spring allows riders to run their shock at lower air pressures for a more linear feel throughout the stroke
Smoother small bump performance, better grip at the tires and a shock that will not overheat on the demanding descents
Firm platform for pedaling and climbing efficiency without penalizing descending performance
Bolstered valving and an oversized Internal Floating Piston (IFP) offers a wider range of tuning and enhanced damping control that approaches the descending performance of the FLOAT X
MCU bottom-out bumper for end-stroke progressivity
Metric sizes
Adjustments: Lever actuated Open, Firm modes (3-setting Open mode tuning range); Rebound; Air spring pressure
Air Sleeve and Body Finish: Genuine Kashima Coat
