its ok, but useful, sometimes necessary

I got this to start wheel building since i figured i should have one because i wanted to build wheels.
i then found it useless if you have a good truing stand.
Then my truing stand went out of dish and i didnt know how to fix that, so i trued the rims on one side at a time and used this to double check. thats where it is handy
also usefull for truing stands that just true on one side.

Pros: decent, good to have, not always needed, but when things go wrong this is necessary to double check

Cons: kinda clumsy to use and setup.
