Went into the local Portland store clueless and ready to spend some money on stuff I really didn't need. Not only did I get massive amounts of information, but was helped to decide not to buy anything that day. (Which ended up being a very good thing!) After a lot of research, I now have a much better idea of what I need, and though UC lost a cheap sale that day, they've gained a lifelong customer and all of my future bike and accessories purchases. Thanks for the honesty and amazing help!

Just wanted to say thanks to all the guys at Universal Cylces Portland. I recently had a custom bike built up by Universal, and even though I ordered a couple of parts that did not work out, they made everything right and the bike looks and rides perfectly. They also built me up an absolutely gorgeous/super strong pair of wheels. I couldn't be more stoked!

Dear Universal, last week I purchased a bar and stem I was looking at for a long time. The price was right and I bought the products from your store after getting the free shipping. Your flow of operation is what stood out for me as a customer/consumer. I instantaneously received an order confirmation and 4 hours later my products were shipped, to top this off it arrived in not 7 days but in 2. As you know there are on-line retailers that deceive you into thinking they have product in their inventory and don't tell you until you call them a few weeks later about the delay in delivery. Just wanted to thank you guys for your awesome customer service. Though it was only a small part I ordered (a chain catcher), when I returned it due to incorrect size (I measured wrong), you guys exchanged it for the correct size and shipped it out to me fast and with no hassles. This isn't a question as much as a thanks to the staff at universal cycle. I have bought many products in the last year but recently upgraded my chainring. Your staff walked me through the whole process and provided me with advice over several phone calls. They treated me as if I was spending thousands and not $100.
