Thanks Universal Cycles, I've ordered several things this year and have been very impressed with your promptness to take care of orders and get them out the door. I think most things have shown up even quicker than I expected. Nice job on the helpline as well. We ordered some STI shifters that my husband was having trouble installing. A quick call to your 800 line, quite late in the evening got us back on track with the install. It was sometime after 9/9:30 in the evening. Well past the time most places are closed. You guys are doing an outstanding job!

I live in the Portland, OR area and this is far and away my favorite bike shop out here. They have a great in-store selection at good prices and the service is professional, efficient, and of very high quality. To share my most recent experience - I recently got a flat on my way to work and stopped by another store on my way home. I wanted a few other things done so asked about them. The guy told me he'd have to do a full "pro tuneup" that would cost an arm and a leg and that he couldn't get it done for at least two weeks. No way. I called up UC and they are happy to provide the specific services I want, within a window of a few days, and at a reasonable price. I live a bit further out but it's worth the extra mile to get to UC.

I would just like to take a moment to commend your business on the great job you do. I recently ordered a bottom bracket for my mountain bike on a wed. and had it by friday afternoon the same week! I now rely on you guys for parts for my bikes because the "chain" stores here in the area don't carry any parts other than general replacement parts (chains, cables, pedals, etc.). Everything is a special order for the part often at a price higher than what you guys charge and definitely a longer wait. In this particular case I was told it would take about two weeks to get the race face bottom bracket and it was going to be $44 for the same exact part I got from you for $32. I am recommending universal cycles to every cyclist I know. Keep up the great work and keep stocking those parts.

You guys have such a good site. Your site is the first place I go if I need anything and it's usually the only place I have to go. My only regret is that you are located on west coast because I would love to come into the shop. Guess I'll have to plan a trip out there someday. Thanks for the great customer service throughout the years. I'm building a touring bike right now, and I have a few items in my wish list that I'll be purchasing in the next 6-8 months.

I've been working with Universal Cycles Ogden shop for a little over a year now. I went in after seeing some prices on their website, and was pleasantly suprised when I walked in to such a selection of products. Now I feel like I'm in there too much! With my constant rotisserie of new and continuing projects, any time I need a part (more often a whole box of parts), I'll run over to Universal on my lunch. Other LBS's that I've visited in the area, left me feeling a bit excluded. I wasn't 'one of the guys', so the service was lacking. At Universal, Jordan always asks how I'm doing, and is always helpful.
Universal's prices are generally the best in the area, and even if they weren't, I wouldn't care. I'd still be giving you guys my business because of the service and product selection you offer. The online aspect of the shop is also excellent. It's super easy to order all your stuff, and then go in when it's ready and just pick it all up. Anyway, I'm proud to call Universal Cycles my LBS, and I recommend the Ogden shop to eveyone I ride with.
