Very durable tire

I used these tires on my commuter for years, with no flats, ever! They are smooth running and the "negative tread" seems to help when you need some traction off road. They last for years! Not as fast as my new 29er with road tires though. Not a fair comparison. Finally tossed them after 11 years with the same set! Sidewalls were coming apart.

Pros: Quiet, smooth running, a really good commuting tire for slow mountain bike, helps to pick up the pace! Heavier tire that doesn't feel heavy. I never ever got a flat!

Cons: A bit heavy, but that also makes it bomb proof. Cannot compare speed to the 29er"s

Great long lasting tire. I had the on my bike since 2005 and put 1000's of miles on them. Going to buy 2 more!! Soon? just waiting for them to wear out

Pros: Rolls very fast. Good for dirt but not for loose gravel.

Cons: After going on 6 years the Sidewalls are showing there age
