The best mirror I have tried.

As durable as a bar end mirror can be. They do take a beating.

The best thing is a good distortion free image. Properly aimed, you can see traffic a long way off.

I have broken a few off over the years. Now keep an extra in my kit.

Feel naked without one.

Pros: Excellent large distortion free image. Large enough to be useful.

Cons: Not absolutely bullet proof, but close.

Best mirror ever - and I've tried many!

I've had a lot of mirrors. The Third Eyes are the only ones I've had that hold up. The life of a mirror is tough -- they get beat up a lot as you lean the bike against walls, set it on the ground, jostle with others for space on the bike rack, etc. Mirrors are plastic, and plastic can break. The Third Eye ones take the abuse, often flipping themselves out of the way rather than breaking. It often requires readjustment, but that's easy and certainly not unique to the Third Eye.

Nice no-tool installation, too. Choose one of two sizes of rubber wedges, insert into the end of the handlebar and keep turning it clockwise until it's tight. If you want to remove the mirror for a rough mountain bike ride, travel or to move it to another bike, it only takes seconds.

I can't use helmet mirrors because of my hard contact lenses and strong prescription (if I blink while looking way off to the side, the lenses often slip off-center), so handlebars are the only option for me. This one is the best.

Pros: Easy to adjust, easy to remove and install, durable, lightweight.

Cons: Round shape doesn't give you as wide a view of traffic as others. On drop handlebars your hand and wrist may block the view a bit, but I haven't found this to be a big problem.
