i wish they still made 3RD HAND TOOLS

kinda necessary if you have no one to help you sometimes or you have a stubborn build
its something you need to have if you take maintenance seriously, but it still sucks
I hate these tools, they are too big, too many parts, clumsy, and just not easy to use at all
sometimes its hard to get the ratchet to stay to keep a cable tensioned, sometimes its hard to keep a cable in the jaws, sometimes you need another person to use the tool while you bolt the stupid cable down. its not fun, but there isnt any other real decent options except for legendary 3rd hands which are real hard to find.

Pros: you need it, which is also its con

clumsy
doesnt always ractchet when you need it too
finicky/delicate to the touch
not fun/ not simple
YOU NEED IT in your tool box
