Great Product, 2/3 the benefit of clip in pedals, with zero hassle

I have used these for years, they work great. I like the Zefals better than some of the other plastic competitors, because the shape and finish is better. I haven't tried any of the metal half clips.

Pros: Hold your feet in alignment on the pedals. Allow you to lift a bit on the upstroke and push forward thru the top. The weight of the clip keeps the pedal vertical and ready to roll into.

Cons: None really. They are plastic, so they will break if they take a big impact.
