Review for the 150mm spacing fork--Not a tapered steerer even though the description says 1.5 tapered. It is a straight steerer that uses a 30mm baseplate. The fork legs have a taper to them and have triple bolt braze-ons that angle back a bit while the front of the fork legs has rack mounts. The brake mount is a 51mm IS style and there are two brake hose braze-ons routing the hose around the back-side of the steerer if both braze-ons are used. The axle uses 6mm allens and slides through from the right to left when a typical Surly axle bolt and washer hold it in place. Lastly, the steerer tube arrives at a length of about 300mm and there is no star nut included. Mounted up with a Bud tire on a Clown Shoe rim there is about 10mm or so between the tire sidewall and the fork leg and about 55mm between the tire tread and crown clearance. I mounted this on a Rocky Mtn Blizzard to replace a Bluto and has no issues except for needing a conversion baseplate for the straight steerer.

Pros: Spacing is interchangeable with Bluto. And the length means that the bike geometry will be similar.

Cons: Incorrect description about tapered steerer on the 150mm spaced fork.
