Review Update

After almost a full year on this tire I found out that the center knobs wear faster that I expected. This lead to the tire slipping out in corners more than I liked. My work shop fix was to sipe the transition and side knobs and run the tire backwards, this gave it WAY better grip. Wet traction is still not there once the center starts to go. I'd run them again as they cost less than other brands and for the money they are still quite good.

Pros: Cost and size for the 26 to 650b conversion guys. They are a true 2.3 tire and measure almost exactly 27.5" so for a cramped frame they are a perfect conversion tire. They set up tubeless quite easy and hold air like a vault. Never an issue with seeping stans. I added some after a few months but that's expected

Cons: Wear or tread life. I ran them mostly at Sandy Ridge which can range from loamy to cheese grater rocky type trails and the center ridge wore faster than I expected, Over all not that bad but I'd like longer life.

Great Tire

I use this tire on the back of my bike. Its a true to size 2.3, has great wet traction and rolls great. The last Panaracer tire I owned was the Cinder, this tire feels very much like that tire only with larger volume. They set up easily as tubeless and seem to be wearing well. Very glad to see that UC is now carrying them.

Pros: Rolls well and has great traction

Cons: None yet, 200+ miles on it so far
