I've used the classic Park patches lots of times over the years, and I'd say they mostly work really well. I have had a couple of instances where the Park patches didn't stick quite as well or got a little wrinkled in application, and didn't fully seal. Have not had this with the Skabs. I'd say they're just a teensy bit stickier than the Park patches, as well as a teensy bit thinner and stretchier, which makes them conform to the tube a bit better and less likely to accidentally get peeled off by something rubbing up against the edge, which is quite square on the Parks. Overall an incremental but real improvement IME>
