Good, but occasionally inconsistent
This is my third KS post, which has worked well, but not without a few hiccups. My first two (950i 30.9, LEV 30.9) performed flawlessly, but this one (LEV 27.2) occasionally takes a couple attempts to get the post down. Or sometimes I need to pause after actuating it before applying weight to push it down, especially in colder weather. I've since sent it back to KS for service and am confident they'll sort it out. Otherwise, I like how the post operates, the Southpaw remote that's available as an option and how the cable doesn't move with the seat. Plus it's one of the only 27.2 droppers available, the other being the Thomson, I believe.Good post, not buying all the hype though...
I've read in all the important bike mags that this is the post of the year! So I laid out my $400 hard earned bucks and put it to the test. That was a month or so ago and I'll report that it's good, but not super. Finally!
I've been waiting for this seatpost for some time because of the cable connector in the fixed part of the post (so cable doesn't go up and down with saddle).
