Fantastic stopping power, terrible QR
These brakes are a significant upgrade from Tektro long-reach brakes- much stiffer and more powerful. With SwissStop BXP pads, the braking is almost as good as entry-level hydraulic discs. Sadly, the quick release doesn't come even close to opening wide enough. With 35C tires mounted on VO RAID rims, even when I use the wide-opening feature on my Campy levers, the QR on the brakes doesn't allow me to remove the wheel without deflating the tire.Best deep-drop brakes I've ridden
In short, amazing. More power than any other deep drop brake that I've ridden. Much stiffer than Shimano R651 or TRP 957. Only wish the q/r would open wider to clear fat tires.
