Amazing commuting and touring tire
I don't want to jinx myself, but I've been running these for over 5 years and have yet to get a flat tire, and I commute 20miles through the middle of Portland year round. I've also toured on these in the summertime and have been pleased. After riding with half a dozen friends who were getting the occasional flat, they switched too. The only flat I've seen with them was a sheetrock screw that hit it perfectly, it even dimpled the inside of the rim, so no stopping that one.v. good tire
I am super happy with my desicion to get Gatorskins. I was riding the Conti touring plus, and they were too slow. Not that I need to go fast, they were just really slow. My bike just feels more alive now. More fun to ride. So far only a few hundred miles, but I love them. They were easy to mount; I got the steel, 32cm.
