these are a joke. they are a great idea, but when used on Race face cranks WITH Race Face pedals, the holes for the pedals are too small. By the time you open up the hole for the pedal, the boot is way too weak and the boot will fall off the crank. This has happened to me 2 times now. I really like the idea of a protector on the end of a carbon crank, but Race Face fell way short on this design.

This a must have for anyone using carbon crank arms and rides with any rocky trails, I cannot even imagine what my crankset would look like without these things, excellent for any trail where you have rocks, sometimes they will get all twisted around but just takes a second and no tools on the trail to get them back in place!!

Pros: Easy to install, excellent product, will save a high dollar crankset

Cons: Gets all mangled and twisted up sometimes

Excellent product

This is a great idea. It protects those expensive ends of the cranks from those rocks and roots. After a couple of rides I can see a lot of scrapes on the boots that would of been on my cranks.

Pros: Easy to install. Very lightweight.

Cons: None
