I bought a pair of these for stuff-sacks, but they're just the right size for beer growlers too :)
I haven't had the breaking problems others have mentioned. One thing I noticed is that the mounting points on my Fargo's fork aren't quite in a plane--since the tubes have a slightly-curved taper, the lowest hole is slightly behind the other two. If people have been prestressing the metal by bending it against the braze-ons, that might explain some of the breakage. Of course, I also don't go off-road a lot.
The included straps aren't long enough to complete the circle described by the sides of the cage. In fact they're too short by like half. I'm not sure why Salsa includes such undersized straps. It's not like nylon webbing is expensive...?Pros:
