Not for serious work.

This a well made little stand, and the previous review really covers it well, especially about what fits.

But there is an important caveat -- there is no way to easily center wheels, so this is a stand for a minor touch up or replacing a broken spoke in an existing centered wheel. It is really almost impossible to build a wheel using this stand, although I recently did so. It meant a lot of taking it in and out, although I did simply center the wheel in one spot and then work from there.

I like mine but, if you have more room spend more on a proper stand, you won't regret it.

Having said that it is a great race day stand, and in that light still a good product. Can't give it 5 stars because of the axle size restrictions.

Pros: Light and easy to store, and carry.

Cons: Axle size restrictions.

Probably best for Roadies

Overall not bad for the price. I mainly bought this because it would sit on top of my stand. I use it on the stand when just quickly truing wheels, but throw it on the base when building so I can sit. Most QR's will need a spacer bewtween the skewer and hub on the side not being held in the stand in order to tighten enough to keep the wheel on. Really only works well for 10mm axles despite claims otherwise, so not the best truing stand for MTB wheels.

Pros: Solid, I like the storage bins. I use them when re-building hubs to keep the order of the parts straight. Eliminates the need for a dishing tool.

Cons: Indicators have a lot of slop in them, doesn't actually affect there use, but it bothers me. Putting wheels on it is a pain, especially when flipping side to side. Can't do 12mm axle hubs.
