Great replacement part
I just replaced a worn XT 11-34T CS-M770 cassette on our tandem with this one. Man, does it shift good now. I'm certain a new XT cassette would have worked just as well. I decided to spend a little less money since this bike isn't ridden every day. Still, a very nice piece and no buyer's remorse. It weighs 16g more than the XT cassette.We'll never notice that little difference. Also, I kinda dig the 2-tone color of the cogs. Save yourself $10 or more dollars and go SLX.11-28 = Perfection
This is the best mountain cassette gear range, ever. If you are running a 2x9, this is the cassette right here. The 28t large sprocket is adequate with your granny ring and the tight high gears make for crisp, clean shift when you are hammering the downhills.
