What is Flex-Ship?

Flex-Ship is...

  • Orders where all items have the Flex-Ship Qualified label qualify for faster "To Your Door" shipping times at no extra charge. This applies to 2 Day, 3 Day or Ground delivery.
  • 2 Day Delivery - Your order will ship the same day and arrive "To Your Door" in 2 business days, regardless of the number of "Days to Ship" listed next to the warehouse you choose. *
  • 3 Day Delivery - Your order will ship the same day and arrive "To Your Door" in 3 business days, regardless of the number of "Days to Ship" listed next to the warehouse you choose. *
  • Ground Delivery - If the total of UPS Ground Transit Times shown in the map below and the number of "Days to Ship" listed by the warehouse you choose is longer than 5 business days, your order will still arrive "To Your Door" in 5 business days or less. *
  • Orders with Items not Listed as Flex-Ship - Still leave our facilities within the time listed by the warehouse you choose.

Warehouse Questions

Universal Cycles ships orders from two warehouses, one in the midwest, and one in Portland, Oregon. Freight charges are the same from all warehouses. The day an item is available to ship from each warehouse is listed next to the quantity available on all products we sell. Depending on the availability of the items you have selected, during the final checkout process, you will have a chance to select which warehouse you would like your order to ship from. This allows you to choose the warehouse that is closest to you so you can receive your order as quickly as possible. Orders with all Flex-Ship Qualified Items leave the same day regardless of the "time to ship" shown when selecting a warehouse for 2 Day, 3 Day and Ground orders. *

Midwest Warehouse

The Midwest warehouse is able to ship about 70% of the products we sell. Orders placed before 1:00 PM Central time are shipped the same day. Orders placed after 10:00 AM Central time are shipped the next business day. In-Store Pickup is not available at our Midwest warehouse.

Portland, Oregon Warehouse

The Portland warehouse is able to ship 100% of the products we sell. Orders where all items are displaying "Today" are shipped the same day. All other orders placed before 4:00 PM Central time ship within two business days (unless otherwise stated). Add one business day for orders placed after 4:00 PM Central time. Orders with all Flex-Ship Qualified Items leave the same day regardless of the "time to ship" shown when selecting a warehouse for 2 Day, 3 Day and Ground orders. *

Hand Built Custom Wheelsets

Hand built custom wheelsets take five business days, and are built and shipped from our Portland warehouse.

UPS Ground Transit Times

Domestic packages shipping "UPS Ground" follow the maps shown below. "Next Day", "2 Day", and "3 Day" shipping selections require the stated number of days to arrive from the ship date.

All Canadian and international orders arrive in 1 to 3 business days from the ship date.
