Team Pro - Beautiful but really long break-in (go with the B17 instead)
I have multiple Brooks saddles on different bikes and love them. However, if I had to buy another, I would go with the B17, not the Team Pro. This saddle has thicker leather and has taken an inordinate amount of time to break in. In fact, it really hasn't broken in much in the past year despite it being ridden almost half the time (daily commuter). It is still a great product, well made, etc. I would recommend it for heavier riders that feel that a normal Brooks B17 has too much give or isn't supportive enough.
Pros: Beautiful, Brooks quality, probably longer lasting than the B17
Cons: Why do you need a longer lasting Brooks? A well cared for B17 will last decades. Maybe this saddle will break in a bit in a few more years, but I think that is a big price to pay. I'd buy the B17, not this one. My B17 was broken-in within a few months and I love it.
