Cinelli Carbon Bar Tape

I was looking for a tape that doesn't attract dirt and looks good for a long time, this one fits the bill well. This tape only has marginal cushion and is more for racing.

Pros: Good performance with long lasting durability.

Cons: Not a lot of cushioning.

too slippery

Looks nice, but they're too slippery if you're wearing fleece gloves.

Pros: Durable, looks nice.

Cons: too slippery w/ some gloves or wet hands.

Not worth it

This tape does not have the same stretch and pull that most bar tape does and caused some problems on wrapping.

This combined an excessively sticky and messy glue backing caused more of a headache.

I wrapped it, fixed it, wrapped it again, fixed it... then said screw it and bought different tape.



Pros: nice weave effect

Cons: Not very comfortable under hands, too sticky, no stretch

looks just as displayed and looks great on the bike. went on pretty easy and feels good on the hands. just the right thickness for me as it isn't super thick and plush or hard and thin, just right.

Pros: durable, looks great, comfortable.

Cons: none

This tape is very durable. I've been able to reuse it to wrap a new set of bars. It's nicely padded and you can get a nice tight wrap with it.
