Not that impressed with these. Hard to line up and keep lined up., Plus the coverage isn't great but I expected that.

Great for those rare rainy California days. Pretty easy to install, lightweight, and they look really nice. I wouldn't use them somewhere where it rains all the time, but for occasional rainy days they are great.

Pros: Light. Attractive. Easy to install.

Cons: Need adjustment during ride sometimes but great for use where rain is not an every day thing.

Good product. Very light, easy to install mid-ride with the rubber strap system. The fit is good, but it needed some bending of metal arms, and a bit of fussing to get right. As it is not mechanically fixed, it does shift during ride and will require a bit of adjusting to push it back in place.

All in all, good coverage, very light weight, and a good option for the nasty parts of the ride. If you are okay with the occasional stop to re-adjust to deal with a fender slipping to the side slightly, these are fine.

Pros: Light weight, ease of quick clip-on, packs reasonably well if being carried in a pack.

Cons: A bit fussy to get it to fit frame and tire, and unstable over bumps.

Almost commuter approved

These fenders are the best clip on option if you don't have enough clearance between your brake and tire. I commute to work a lot (including blizzard conditions) and these have stood up to lake effect snow and sub zero temps. Quality plastic. The rubber fastens securely and doesn't budge once it's on the fork/seatstay, even after riding over gutters, train tracks, and the unavoidable potholes.

The front fender doesn't have enough coverage. Even on days where the streets are wet, but it's not raining, my shins and tootsies still get wet. Then my co-workers laugh at me, but I don't care because they had to take a car to work.

Also worth noting, I'm running a 700x30 in back and 23 up front. The 23 fits well, but the 30 is about the largest I'd go. 32 won't work.

Pros: Durable, stable, eliminates the rear "stripe"

Cons: Front fender is too small. Mitigate by getting a second set and putting another rear fender up front.

Don't let the rubber grips fool you. They hold very tight, there is very little chance the race blade fenders are going to come off. I was hesitant to purchase at first due to the picture of the rubber retainers.

Depending on frame, there may be clearance issues with the front tire. I was unable to get it on my rain bike, but it fits on my nice weather bike. Basically rendering the front fender useless. However, the rear looks and works the best out of all the fenders that I have tried.

Quick on/off design

Takes less than 20 secs to install. The fender arms may need some bending on the first install to get right. Make sure you use the supplied clear tape to protect the paint on the seat stays. While the fender brackets have soft rubber and straps, sand and grime can still get in between and cause scratches since the fenders are likely to move a little.

Pros: light, easy to install
