Great piece of mind When building up bikes I've always used an anti-seize on all interfaces between two disimilar materials. Especially on Ti and Aluminum frames. I find this stuff helps stop creaks before they start. It also has never failed me when I need to remove a part that has been left in place a bit too long. Good stuff, is a bit messy, the lid brush helps a touch but not much. Pros: Great protection. I've never had a cold-weld occur where I've used this. Cons: A bit messy. anti seeze for ti I bought this for my ti frame. So far nothing has seized. I like that it has a brush to apply. Pros: anti seize, brush applicator Cons: Very messy and hard to clean up. Excellent product I ride a custom steel frame and fork so this is an excellent product for assembly. This really prevents the seatpost from cold welding into the seat tube. Pros: Excellent for steel frames. A little bit goes a long way. Cons: A little messy but the cap has a integrated brush to help keep it off of the mechanic. having dealt with seized components in the past, when it came time for me to do my own wrenching and assembly, I was determined to get it right from the start. The mechanics that I trusted to work on my bikes in the recent past swear by this stuff. I've always been able to disassemble the parts they put on with this stuff. Now, after using this, I've had the same ease of dis-assembly with parts installed using this product.
The first time you have to deal with a seized on part, you'll wish you spent a few extra bucks and got some of this. Just get it.... especially if you are using different metal components like steel frames and aluminum part, etc. etc. Pros: just flat out works. Cons: not free :( Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: January 16, 2011 Reviewed by: htdoc11, nc Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
