Inexpensive, effective, and can be left on if desired. It's a win, win situation!

Just what I needed

So these little things are a pain but way cheaper than buying all the fancy compressor fittings.

It's not so hard to screw up something as crucial as a valve adapter, but these have been absolutely perfect for me! Often adapters like these will have poor quality seals that are meant to keep the system airtight, but this adapter never let me down during many months of constant service. What did let me down was my memory, as I subsequently lost this adapter. Word to the wise: leave it in a noticeable spot!

Don't leave home without one. You never know when it will save your day or someone else's. The brass one have a better fell than the aluminum ones.

Always worked for years.

Simple adapters if you need them. I use these on my compressor so I don't have to buy a Silca head. Always work. Always.

Presta Valve Adapter

I like to keep one on my commuting bike's front wheel just in case of an emergency where I only had access to a schrader valve pump (like a gas station). Never needed it, but I feel better with it on there.

Pros: You'll be very happy you have it if you ever need it.

Allows you to air up your presta tubes with an air compressor using a standard schrader valve attatchement. Cheap and easy to use, everyone should have a few in their toolbox.

Indispensable when you need to pump up your presta tube and you are at a gas station or borrowing a schraeder only pump. O-ring sealed.

Handy little adapter

This is a handy little adapter to have around. It makes it very easy to inflate you tubes with standard Schrader-type pumps/compressed air. Also, it seems to be much easier to check the air pressure using this and a standard automobile pressure gauge than a gauge make for presta valves (which seem to have a lot of problems with leaking during the reading)

Pros: Small (light), cheap, helpful

Cons: Small (easy to lose)
