These tires work great as a front tire in sloppy conditions, they roll pretty smooth, and paired with a cx jet in the rear there is nothing better.
Using these in both front and rear is also a great combination for snow. Pros: Traction! Weight, low rolling resistance. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: May 16, 2013 Reviewed by: Robert N., Michigan Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Great in the mud, rolls nice too I use these to race CX, but I sometimes ride them on my commute to work. The work great in the mud, but also roll suprisingly well on the pavement. I have had them for a year and they wear well. Pros: Very good mud tire
Wear slowly
Roll well on the pavement Cons: None Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: October 14, 2012 Reviewed by: Ron C., Oregon Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Great CX tire for muddy conditions - tread has lasted much longer than expected over three seasons and still running well. Large air volumes as the sidewall is quite high, great for running low pressure. I'm on my 3rd season using these tires. This year I am using them with a tubeless setup on Stans rims. These tires are awesome in pretty much every condition. If you are going to go tubeless with them, use a new set. I cut one of mine and put on a well used one, but it took a really long time to seal. For clinchers, these can be run at lower pressure then most others. Tubeless even lower. My only problem with these tires is that they wear out really quick on pavement because they are so soft. Pros: Work well in all conditions, ride great, can be run low pressure, can be used tubeless Cons: Wear out quickly on pavement Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: December 05, 2010 Reviewed by: Brian K., Oregon Was this review Helpful? These are pretty good tires. They are very soft and wear quickly on the road. I prefer Panracer to the Michelin tires but these are fine. Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: No Reviewed on: September 20, 2010 Reviewed by: Matthew B., Oregon Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
These tires are great racing tires. They are lightweight compared to others, but provide very good grip. Rolling resistance is decent, so I can still get up to good speeds on pavement sections. They do well on all surfaces, though in the mud they do great. Rarely do I lose traction, and when I do, it seems to be in a predictable manner so that it is still controllable. Pros: Lightweight, great traction, decent rolling resistance. Cons: Only comes in one size. Michelin makes sturdy tires. for cyclecross I prefer the Mud 2 for the light weight , grip and width. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: September 01, 2010 Reviewed by: jim s., Washington Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
