Waterproof Saddle Cover

I bought one of these for a brooks saddle which I used to protect the saddle when I would flip the bike over. Eventually the material wore through and I had to replace the cover. I bought this same saddle cover again because i used it so much. It does add some padding which is nice and it hides the saddle better than the saddle covers brooks sells, which i like for locking my bike up outside.

Pros: pretty durable, low-profile

Cons: eventually the material did wear out and it does retain some water when it rains.

slides around alot

slides around alot and is more water resistant than 'proof'. I use it mostly when the bike is on the roof rack for longer road trips.

Pros: >good coverage

Cons: >isn't really waterproof

Aardvark Waterproof Saddle Cover

Do you ride on a leather saddle? If so, you need this saddle cover. I have one on each bike that has a leather saddle to protect it from rain or sweat. Also, it's great for protecting your slacks from the saddle dye on your commuting/utility bike. If fits snug enough to stay on, even when the bike is on your car's bike rack and up in the wind stream. I found it to fit all Brooks B-17 models, the Brooks B-67, and Selle Anatomica. It should fit all similarly shaped saddles. This cover works better than the Brooks product, which is waterproof nylon, and even provides a some padding.
