Great lightweight hubs, customer service is suspect

Although the American Classic hubs you see here are a Taiwanese design sold under other labels, the AC versions are generally the best of the breed. They're extremely light and the relatively high flanges make it easier to build great wheels.

Note that AC hubs are now shipping with a warning to not use titanium bolts (???) and not to use rotors that don't form a solid metal ring around the bolt holes. This means many popular rotors such as the R1 rotors are OUT unless you want to ignore the warning. More explanation of what's going on would be helpful, because I know of no other hub that ships with similar notices.

Pros: Light, high flanges

Cons: AC is terrible at answering customer service inquiries. You might very well be on your own if you need something from them.
