Comfortable and Quality Protection
These guards cover your knees and shins in all the right places. They are not overly bulky and the crossing straps hold them in place perfectly. I went through several pairs of knee and shin guards before these and they are by far the best.
Pros: Fit well and great protection.
Cons: Bit Pricey

Yes No Report as InappropriateThe best knee/shin armor
Let me first state that I have tried all the knee/shin armors from 661, Race Face, Dainese, and Fox.
The only thing I care to use are the Fox Launch Knee/Shins. To be honest, I am on my fourth pair. I honestly would not have legs if it weren't for these things.
The ventilation is great because it's an open strap system. They stay in place relatively well vs the other brands. Putting the brace on/off is so easy even a caveman could do it.
Only beef is that they should have designed the threads holding the plastic shin protector on a little differently. Over time, the threads will get damaged and the plastic shin piece will want to separate from the pad.
Speaking of the pad, perhaps use a little bit thicker padding or a different kind of foam for more protection on the impacts.
Pros: Comfortable
Excellent protection, stays in place
Easy on/off strap system
Ventilation is excellent
Cons: Threads holding shin protector easily damaged, causes hard shin armor to separate from pad.

Yes No Report as InappropriateFox Lunch Knee and Shin Guards
These guards never move or slide on my legs. They are light and easy to carry in my pack until I get to the top. I have ridden a lot of XC with them on and they have never rubbed me wrong. They are super tough and have lasted me 3 seasons. Everyone in my crew wears them and we all love em.
Pros: Never move or slip and very tough.
Cons: Not super thick for hard impact landings, but offer great protection from scratches and scrapes.
