SUPER BRIGHT

I needed to replace my helmet light. This mounts well and sheds a ton of light. well focused beam with a large halo to give a wide field of view

Pros: see above

Cons: No wall plug charger but my cell phone charger worked, its a universal fitting

This is a bright light. It has 3 main brightness settings. On the road I only use it on low or medium. Offroad I find medium great, and flip to high for anything sketchy. Very easy to scroll through the settings on the move. Through my own tests I discovered, while on the highest settings, at 1 hour 17 min it will give the low battery indicator and at 1 hour 23 minutes it will default from high beam to low beam to save the battery.

Pros: Light weight, easy to change modes, very bright.

Cons: the quick release mount releases way too easily, can come off on rough terrain. The battery is sealed so you cant change it out and keep riding. The light wont turn on while riding so you cant use an external backup battery.

Pretty great

This is a good improvement over the previous MiNewt series. It is smaller, lighter, brighter, and has a much better (though bulkier) handlebar mount. The helmet mount is also bulky and somewhat primitive using straps, but it mounts securely. The beam pattern is pretty wide, which I prefer to the Cygolite's narrow beam. The light is bright enough to scare off cars if you have it on your helmet, as it is absolutely blinding when directly in the eyes.

Battery life on high could be better, but on medium and low settings is pretty spectacular for such high output.

The only real problem with this product is that no plug-in wall adapter is included for the USB cable. My previous MiNewt came with one. Why not this one? So unless you have another wall charge (for previous lights, USB smartphones, etc) you'll only be able to charge this from your computer.

Overall, a great light that performs well, is small and light and all-in-one, and doesn't cost too much.

Pros: Bright, light, small

Cons: Mediocre battery life on high, no plug-in adapter for USB cable

Lumina 650 Headlight

I was a little wary of the handle bar mount, but after many miles over some pretty rough trails, it hasn't had any problems. I run the light on low beam most of the time, because my other light wasn't as bright as the low beam on the model 650. So I am very pleased with another Nite Rider product.

Pros: Multiple functions,no cords to plug in.Great run times.Small, light weight.

Cons: It takes about 5.5 Hr. to fully charge.
