D.O.S.S. (Drop off Steep S**t): Perfectly positioned to ride any trail. This all new height adjustable seat post compliments Fox's CTD ride dynamics system. With on the fly, 3 position, height adjustablity, you're perfectly positioned for any type of terrain. Fox enters this category with a cable actuated post, a beautiful remote actuator, and the choice of 100mm or 125mm of travel. What will you drop off today??
- CTD 3-Position Integration: Gain complete ride control at your fingertips with the 3-position remote lever.
- Remote Lever: Provides 4 position mounting options. Left/Right and above/below handlebar. Dual levers make it easy to find middle trail position every time. Adjustable reach.
- Dual Internal Cam System: easy travel-setting activation with no rotational play. Cam (1) actuates height/position mechanism. Cam (2) adjusts anti-rotational mechanism. Self adjusting design provides less friction resulting in long term durability.
- Pneumatic Adjustable Speed Return: Adjust the return speed (rebound) of the post via a Schrader valve (10-25 PSI)
- Sizes Available: 30.9mm or 31.6mm
- Drops Available: 4" or 5" (100mm or 125mm)
- Left or Right cable routing
- No Slip, 2 bolt saddle clamp design
- At full extension, with the seat post all the way in the frame, the 100mm travel will stick out 6 1/2 inches, and the 125mm travel will stick out 7 1/2 inches. This is a measurement to the seat rails.

Great post for dry weather
This is an excellent post when it is nice and dry.
When it rains cats and dogs expect changing the cable and housing every 4 rides or so. The lever becomes really hard to push and you can't really shield the post mechanism. Bummer and sad face!
Pros: very reliable in dry weather
Cons: terrible longevity of cable and housing in rainy season. I wish I were wrong!

Yes No Report as InappropriateI hope it is better than Reverb
in 6 months of having a reverb, it failed twice in a number of crucial places. I just got Fox Doss not out of vanity but hoping it will work better. Had only one ride on it and so far it works very well (one ride is not an indicator, I know).
If you ever bled a Reverb, you will lough at how easy it is to install the DOSS. It is laughable. I hope to have better experience with this post. IT would be helpful to know other people's ideas as just rating it poorly without an explanation is not fun to read
Pros: It is not hydraulic, thanks goodness!
Cons: Have not found yet. It would be nice to have a non movable cable, like LEV
