These beasts are so comfortable. The cushions in them are great, I call em my cloud 5's. This company makes rock climbing shoes. The same material they use on the rock shoes they are using for their MTB shoes. The grip, o' the grip! It's funny, you seriously have to make any effort of pulling strait up if you need to disengage your foot from the pedal. As I've owned them, they end up on my feet more and more often. They started their life only knowing dirt and metal. As of lately, they've been passing the time with my paces on the pavement too.
Pros: So, so comfortable and the grip!

The 5-10 freerider has only gotten better. New gel footbed for maximum shock absorbsion for those big impacts, new graphics and colors with Danny MaCaskills signature and reinforced heelcup for added stability. Buy two pair, one for riding and one for going out.
Pros: Rugged and stylish 5-10 shoe with all the classic 5-10 features
Cons: All those luxeries of a great shoe come at a price
