These fenders come without any holes drilled or anything -- they are delivered as a pile of metal pieces and fasteners. I think that this is good, because I don't have to work around the holes that the manufacturer drilled into them, and can position the fenders to fit my bicycle instead of what the manufacturer thinks my bicycle is.

On the negative side, they run a little narrower than the rated size; the 40mm ones are only about 37mm, which leaves precious little room to fit a 30mm tire inside them.
