Hydraulic Disc Brake Bleed
> Labor Rates
- Disc brake will be properly bled using the correct manufacturer bleed kit
- Wheel is removed from bicycle to avoid contamination
- Brake pads are removed to avoid contamination
- Following manufacturer specs, Brake is bled until all air is removed from the system
- If needed, pistons will be pushed back into the caliper
- Brake pads will be re-installed
- Wheel is installed and caliper will be adjusted if necessary
- All areas of work will be cleaned thoroughly to maintain proper function and avoid contamination
- Bike is test ridden and brake is actuated several times to ensure proper function

Avid brakes are difficult to bleed I do not like avid brakes any more. You bleed them like 100 times and they work for a couple of rides and then blam.... the bike is back in the stand. Pros: The bleed kit works well because you will need it. Cons: Avid brakes are lame.
