I only use platforms and these are great. Great finish quality, great bearings, great pins, not too thick, North American company. I have been using xPedo's but these are my new favorite. Best Platform I've found Well, another $100 pedal hits the market! I'm middle-aged & have moved away from SPD pedals. These Blackspires are really the best platform I've run across. Just-right platform size, just-right studding, just-right weight. The fit & finish excellent. Gotta love the all-weather nickel axle plating. Super-smooth bearing. Impeccable attention to detail.
