The front fender attaches to the downtube with rubber o-rings. Pretty difficult to get the o-ring around the frame, through the small hole in the fender, and then onto the plastic barb to secure it. The rear fender requires a wrench to make height adjustments, cheap aluminum bolt and capture nut. Still got a wet backside when mounted on a RIP9 with 2.4 tire. Maybe I expected too much for any fender on a FS bike.
