World Cup disaster I had these 2012 XX frnt and rear for a couple months. They too happy about shaving 9 grams and loosing the pad adjustment. Without this adjustment you just purchased $800 paper weights. Trust me your going to rip these brakes off and gladly run heavier, adjustable brakes. The only way I could get them to work was by grinding the pads down, but that defeats the purpose of buying $800 brakes. Anyone that says these breaks work good has to work for avid. Pros: They the most expensive and they slightly lighter than cable disc brakes. Cons: No adjustment of pads, auto pad control feature doesn't work at all. Riding with brakes on, lines are weak and cheap considering the massive pricetag.
